Balfour Beatty/Birse Civils WISAblock Trial at the 19M Postwick Hub 17.09.14
Due to a recent serious incident Balfour Beatty and Birse civils contacted us to trial WISAblock on their Postwick Hub Project to reduce the risk of impalement on reinforced steel bars. They hoped that, not only would it save on installation time, but that it would raise the level of safety in areas where steel starter bars were present.
3 boxes of 40 units were utilised over 80m at standard 1.5m centres between WISAblock’s.
